Welcome Kappa Delta Alumnae!

The Columbus, Ohio area Kappa Delta Alumnae Association was recently revived. We are dedicated to connecting and supporting the Kappa Delta women in the greater Columbus area. Through hosting events, collecting contact information, providing forums for connecting, and communicating news, the Kappa Delta Alumnae Association for Columbus, Ohio is the best way to keep in touch with your sisters and meet new friends.

Kappa Delta encourages its members to be their best even after they graduate from college. While many things in your life may change ­ your career, marital status, interests ­ Kappa Delta is always there, always accessible, always a part of you wherever you may be. So, whether you are a long-time Columbus resident or are new to the area, reconnecting with your sorority will be fun and fulfilling. Join our association: meet new people, socialize and have fun!

What we do

The Kappa Delta Alumnae Association for Columbus, Ohio focuses on social, educational and cooperative events. Our goal is to enhance the lives of the local KDs by providing events that are not only fun, but that can also assist women in their daily lives. Many of our activities are still in the planning stages, but here are the tytpes of events we are considering:

• Social Events (Happy Hours, Family Outings, Active/Alumnae Events)
• Book Club
• Financial Planning Seminars
• Community Service
• Art & Cultural Events
• Attending and Participating in Sporting Events
• Lunch & Shopping!
• Bible Study
• Independent Business Parties (Cutco, Pampered Chef, Longaberger, Simply Tasteful)
• Mom & Tots events

How we do it

Communication is the key to a successful organization; we plan to keep you up-to-date with the latest information so that you can plan your schedule and make it to events. Our goal is not to have events with many, many people at each event every time; rather, we want to see large and small groups connect. We act as the vehicle to help get the women together by helping the organizers plan and send word about their events.

Our relationship with the Sigma Kappa chapter

The primary function of this Alumnae Association is to provide support for the Alumnae in Columbus, regardless of what chapter each lady beckons from. But, we also aim to help and socialize with the local chapter to bridge the gap between actives and Alumnae.

The Kappa Delta Chapter in Columbus is the Sigma Kappa Chapter at The Ohio State University. We will hold events with the local sorority, including attendance at National Events and philanthropies. We hope you will join us in supporting our young sisters.
